The SYMON Monitoring Plugin for VNX Block consists of a data collector (centera-collector) and various checks for different components of the EMC VNX system. The collector of the SYMON Monitoring Plugin for VNX Block defines the checking interval. If you want to check certain components every 15 minutes, you have to set the checking interval of the collector to 15 minutes. The checking interval has to be the same for all components, meaning it must be set at the interval of the component with the shortest desired checking interval.
